An Easter Holiday club with free school meals!

Amazing News! We at Ocean Adventurers will be running an Easter Holiday club in partnership with Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership – SASP from Tuesday 6th – Friday 9th April from 12pm – 4pm. This is specifically for children of school age (up to 12 years old) on benefits-related free school meals in the Somerset County Council area. All four days are included. We have a total of 60 funded spaces, and these will all be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Each of the sessions include the likes of:
A hot meal for lunch
A take-home meal kit for dinner
Laser tag
Team sports
Bouncy castle
Creative arts & design
Role play

Have no worries as all COVID-secure measures including fogging are in place and children attending will be in bubbles of up to 15 children that will not mix with other children. As far as possible, these bubbles will be matched with the school and year groups to minimise additional bubble mixing. OA will open officially to the public on 17th May 2021, but an exemption has been granted by the council for this holiday club. Parents who are not in receipt of benefits related free school meals but would like their child to attend can do so by emailing the same address.

Please note that government regulations for this time period stipulate that parents should require the childcare for work, looking for work, training or other reasons as stipulated on gov.uk. Places are chargeable at £17.35 per four-hour session, inclusive of two meals as above.
